I was out crusing saturday and raced a few cars, here is the list: roush mustang, c5 vette and a older nova with slicks. well the c5 was a tricky race, I was running at 15 psi and off the line I was having trouble. it would either peel out or bogg down if I didn't hit it just right. well the c5 jumped about a car length on me of the line because this race I bogged and in second I pulled almost right back next to him. then when I hit third I just flew right past. so you should be able to take him. the roush stang I raced was an older guy who didn't want to get next to me at first. but finally we got side by side and I got a good start, we were even in first but then when I hit second I pulled about a car and a half on him and it was all over. I have heard there are diffrent stage roush's but I wasn't shure what this one had in it. then out of no where a loud ass older nova got next to me. from a roll I downshifted into 2nd and he pulled a half a car, but when I hit third we stayed even. then would'nt you know it we got stuck at the very next light side by side. I look over at his rear fender and all I see is Tire. he was driving around on drag slicks. then he does a burn out to heat them up. and I was like there is no way I am gonna stay with this guy of the line. so it turns green and I start pealing out and he is gone. now I see the diffrence that slicks make in a race. plus his car had a monster engine in it.
